Biscuits
Delica is the national leader for biscuits in Swiss retail. We turn exquisite raw materials into a wide variety of premium biscuits for every taste, whether you want a double decker, a chocolate coating, a crispy wafer base or even a paw shape. With over 50 innovations per year, Delica is a trendsetter. It stands out clearly with its innovations that delight customers at home and abroad. In addition to sweet biscuits, Delica also produces the popular Farmer bars as well as half a billion Blévita crackers, zwieback and a wide range of aperitif snacks.
Fruit
Fruit products are a specialty of the Fresh Food & Beverage Group. Like their apple purée, which is made exclusively from Swiss organic or conventional apples with Swiss sugar. The variations classic, organic quality or with vanilla extract taste homemade and are a perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes, or can be savoured as a dessert or simply for pure enjoyment.
Of course, fruit is also processed into preserves – and very gently, by cooking the preserve under vacuum. As a result, the boiling point is 75 to 80 degrees lower than in a home kitchen. The fruit aroma is therefore more intense than in some homemade preserves.
Vegetables
The Fresh Food & Beverage Group shock freezes vegetables. This means that the vitamin content and quality are retained over the long term. Leaf spinach, broccoli florets, peas and vegetable mixes are just a small selection of our wide range of vegetables.
Beverages
The Migros Kult Ice Tea is also produced by Migros Industrie: the Fresh Food & Beverage Group is the beverage producer of Migros Industrie. Fruit juices, smoothies, the Kult Ice Tea and cold-brew coffee are filled in Bischofszell.
Aproz fills over 100,000 bottles per hour and bottles around 200 million litres per year. In addition to the natural mineral water brands such as Aproz, Aquella and Valais, Aproz also produces soft drinks and syrups.
Coffee
Delica is one of the biggest coffee roasters in Switzerland. It processes around 17,000 tonnes of raw coffee every year and refines up to 100 tonnes daily. The aroma quality is also guaranteed through the roasting process. It is a comparatively longer process to allow all the nuances and aromas of the coffee beans to develop and take shape.
With the global innovation CoffeeB, Delica has create the first capsule system without capsules. The coffee ball is 100% garden compostable, so generates no aluminium or plastic waste. It retains its aroma thanks to a thin, protective layer of natural origin.
In addition, the patented Delizio (Switzerland)/Cremesso (international) capsule system, which has been successful for many years, has a particularly high level of energy efficiency and individually selectable brewing profiles, which extract the optimal aromas from the coffee beans according to the coffee blend. Delica thus offers its customers unique private-label solutions from the bean or capsule to the packaging, right through to the marketing concepts and the corresponding advertising material.
Ice cream
Whether in a cup, waffle cone, on a stick, in tubs or in squeeze bags – Delica’s ice cream products are seeing steadily increasing demand, both domestically and internationally. The ice cream product range includes dairy ice cream and sorbets in over 40 flavours as well as innovative, creative and unique in-house creations. High-quality raw materials and exquisite ingredients guarantee unbeatable enjoyment.
Chewing gum
Migros Industrie is the only chewing gum manufacturer in Switzerland. A modern and flexible machine fleet ensures efficient production and packaging of the sugar-free chewing gum range. The aim of the chewing gum division is to achieve optimal value for money with premium-quality products for global trade. Owing to the high export share, Swiss chewing gum is offered and enjoyed on all five continents.
Rice
Migros Industrie’s rice production can look back at a history spanning over 100 years. Migros Industrie has also been operating its own cultivation projects in India and Thailand since 2010. Traditional basmati and jasmine rice varieties are cultivated by a total of 1,400 rice farmers in organic cultivation. Other rice varieties are procured from all over the world. Delica offers discerning retail clients in food service and industry reliability, fresh products and distinct ranges. Delica produces and packages its own brands and private labels in individual packaging sizes: boxes, bags, cooking bags, sacks and Big Bags – everything fresh.
Chocolate
Delica produces the popular Chocolat Frey chocolate 100% in Switzerland. A modern and flexible machine fleet enables Delica to efficiently manufacture and pack the wide range of chocolates. The chocolate range includes filled large chocolate bars and small bars in a wide range of variants. Delica supports the UTZ-certified Fair Trade programme for sustainable cultivation and is proud of this certification.
Sophisticated innovation management ensures that trends are identified and implemented. Close customer contact and regular consumer tests aid Delica in the development of marketable innovations and concepts. Delica products are also popular abroad: customers enjoy chocolate from Migros Industrie on all five continents.
Pasta
Elbow macaroni, tagliatelle, spaghetti, spiral pasta, rigatoni, dry pasta, egg pasta … The list of pasta variations is long. They are all made by the Fresh Food & Beverage Group and make the hearts of pasta lovers beat faster.
Frozen products
Deep freezing remains the best method for retaining vitamins and the quality of foods in the long term. In addition to packaged vegetables and veggie mixes, the Fresh Food & Beverage Group range also includes ready meals such as lasagne. Customers can also enjoy crispy potato variants such as duchess potatoes, noisette potatoes and hash browns.
