Equal work is to be done equal
The merger can simplify corporate structures and reduce the cost of financial statements, for example. In addition, by bringing the companies closer together, the FFB-Group can harmonize processes and enable closer collaboration with more sharing and learning from each other.
Why is the group called Fresh Food & Beverage Group?
An English name was deliberately chosen for the newly named “Fresh Food and Beverage Group,” which operates locations throughout Switzerland. This as a neutral solution. “Fresh” stands for the freshly processed raw materials and for healthy, fresh products without preservatives. As a “food” and “beverage” specialist, the FFB Group offers a comprehensive service package ranging from ultra-fresh to long-life products for everyday enjoyment and needs. The name picks up on the mission of Migros Industrie: the FFB-Group stands for fine foods that provide special moments of enjoyment every day – fresh, at fair prices and always surprising.
Who all belongs to the Fresh Food & Beverage Group?
The Fresh Food & Beverage Group consists of the companies of Migros Industrie, which produce bread and bakery products, beverages, convenience food, as well as Asian delicacies such as sushi. In addition to JOWA and BINA, Aproz Sources Minérales SA, Sushi Mania SA and Hug Bäckerei AG also belong to the Group, but as legally independent companies.
The Fresh Food & Beverage Group manages more than 150 locations in Switzerland, including nearly 100 home bakeries, 40 Sushi Corners and the large production sites of the FFB-Group.
