Migros Industrie
With its four high-performance segments, Migros Industrie is part of the Swiss Migros Group. It responsibly and sustainably produces around 16,000 high-quality food products at the best value for money, making it one of the largest private label producers in the world.
History of Migros Industrie
The foundations for Migros Industrie were laid as far back as 1928 by Migros founder Gottlieb Duttweiler, when Migros was forced to set up its own manufacturer network and acquire production companies due to a delivery boycott.
Vision and values
As part of the Migros Group, Migros Industrie is guided by the same raison d’être: “Every day, we work passionately to improve people’s quality of life and our society.” The entire Migros Group succeeds in this by embodying a sense of community across all companies, accepting responsibility, doing good and innovating with a pioneering spirit.
Organisation
The matrix organisation of Migros Industrie focuses on boosting efficiency, creating synergies and reducing duplications. It also enables services and processes in different areas to be professionalised.
